COVID-19 Safety Officer Key Responsibilities
2020-2021 Season
Ensure compliance with the COVID-19 Safety Plan regarding maximum number of people in club

Arrive before 11:00am
Set up the check-in desk (QR code sheet) and marquee outside the front of the club
Place hand sanitiser at entry points and desk, and encourage use
Check everyone on arrival has scanned QR Code with Service NSW App
Use the COVID Safe Concierge webpage for people with no smartphone
Tick off all arriving people using the sign-on sheet (and for “Racing” on the Standard and Radial sheets)
If their name is not on the sheet, then write their name and sail number in space provided at the bottom
You can print out the sign-on sheets before you arrive at the club via these links STANDARD and RADIAL
Currently no use of indoor showers or change rooms (except toilets)
Ask the following questions and if “yes” to any, then ask them to go home
if they have been to any Covid-19 case locations declared by NSW Health
if they have been overseas or in contact with a COVID-19 case
if they have had any cold-like symptoms (even if mild)
After all boats have left the rigging area, help as CoCOTD with COTD on RIB
Monitor all members de-rigging after return from RIB
Email a photo of the sign-on sheets to safety@dbsc.com.au and give the sheets to the PRO
