The People's Prince, glowed:
"We are used to Grasshopper 2.0 and Smiley delivering in the big regattas, but the highlight for me was the performance of the 4.7 team. We have gone from a lone 4.7 rig two seasons ago, to being the leading 4.7 club in Australia now. We don't just have the odd undernourished adult sailor now, we have a whole yoof squad in the 4.7s."
NSW Youth championships wrapped up today with a massive NE breeze... Only one race finished before they sent the sailors ashore.
Finn - almost a picket fence with a 2,1,1,1,1 (the 2nd was his drop) with total score of 4 and taking the win.
Marlena - 6th
Will Cooley- 2nd
Boston Cortis- 3rd
Jack Littlechild- 4th
Mark Louis - 8th
Brooke Wilson - 16th
Henry Davison - 21st
Will McMillian - 23rd
Saturday was blown out with no racing.
Sunday they jammed in as many races as they could in anticipation for Monday's weather.
Monday's weather didn't disappoint and only 1 race was completed! It was wild and fun!
